• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to backend and full‑stack engineers.
• Architect and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Design and implement AWS serverless solutions using Lambda, Step Functions, and related services.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enforce coding standards, security best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision‑making.
• Work closely with product, QA, SRE, and cloud teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

• 10+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on scalable systems.
• Proven Tech Lead / Lead Developer experience in enterprise or product environments.
• Strong programming expertise in Java and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in API development (RESTful services).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Serverless Architecture, including Lambda and Step Functions.
• Experience supporting production systems and managing incidents.
• Strong understanding of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, performance, and security.

• Experience with event‑driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Kafka).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Experience working in high‑availability or large‑scale distributed systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS preferred).

The salary for this position is between $140,000–$150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
