Job Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA
. You will design and develop scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Implement and optimize event-driven systems leveraging Kafka streaming and Graph
QL for efficient data exchange. - Work extensively in AWS environments, ensuring deployment, configuration, and integration of cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and manage databases using Mongo
DB and RDBMS, ensuring high performance and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Ensure data processing and analytics capabilities by understanding Spark and EMR for big data solutions.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Hands‑on experience working in AWS environments (not just theoretical knowledge).
- Strong expertise in Mongo
DB and advanced Java concepts for building scalable applications.

Pay Details$53.00 to $56.00 per hour.
