Join Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist guests and staff with courteous communication, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a hotel and resort location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, hallways, and amenity spaces and/or exterior areas such as parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual behavior, report concerns, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment while supporting hotel operations.

+ Complete patrol and incident documentation, communicate updates to site leadership and emergency services when needed, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and available information.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have customer service experience preferred.

+ Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
