Overview
ANSER is seeking a Program Security Specialist to provide comprehensive security coordination and support for personnel and facility security operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with security regulations and policies, managing clearance processes, and supporting overall security program operations. You will serve as a subject matter resource in coordinating security activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
DayTo Day Responsibilities
- Personnel & Facility Security:
Manage SAP/CAP access requirements for cleared personnel. - Coordinate Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation activities.
- Enforce access control policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage visitor security operations.
- Deliver and support security awareness training and briefings.
- Ensure compliance with physical and personnel security requirements.
- Track and document security incidents, classification management, and compliance issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
- Monitor and report on security program performance.
- Support the development, review, and enforcement of security policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with regulations and directives.
- Current TS/SCI clearance (with polygraph preferred)
- Associate degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of security-related experience supporting personnel and facility security operations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Security, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Additional certifications (e.g., DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification, Industrial Security Professional, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of DoD/IC security policies, including SAP, CAP, and SCIF requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple clearance actions and incident reports.
- Excellent communication skills for preparing reports, conducting briefings, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives and overall mission requirements.
