Piper Companies is seeking a Account Executive, Public Safety & Infrastructure to support a company focused on aerospace security systems located in McLean, VA. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a growing security organization focused on cutting-edge aerospace security.

Responsibilities for the Account Executive, Public Safety & Infrastructure include:
  • Manage the full sales cycle in Public Safety markets, focusing on selling the company’s Counter-UAS solutions and achieving sales targets.
  • Direct and oversee the capture process from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers, including law enforcement, municipalities, and security firms.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, demos, and customer events, while managing the sales pipeline and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Develop deep product knowledge and collaborate with internal teams to create sales strategies, proposals, and customer-focused solutions.
Qualifications for the Account Executive, Public Safety & Infrastructure include:
  • Proven success in sales campaigns with strong results in Public Safety and Security markets, selling both hardware and software.
  • Established relationships with Public Safety agencies, state/local law enforcement, and private security firms.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to lead meetings and manage sales engagements independently.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments, including outdoor demos and events, with occasional equipment setup and travel.
  • Willingness to travel (about 60%) within the U.S.
Compensation for the Account Executive, Public Safety & Infrastructure includes:
  • Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000 + Commission
  • Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law
