Description
This is a travel role. Position is for construction site work covering all of the United States. Must reside in the US.
As a QA/QC Manager, you will provide quality control direction to field personnel, including reviewing work quality, safety, and monitoring performance for Electrical, Mechanical, and Piping. Responsibilities include ensuring contractors and subcontractors comply with engineering standards and specifications, and that all engineering, surveys, inspections, etc., are complete and comply with the project.
Duties and Responsibilities- Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values.
- Participate and guide project quality control from kick-off until hand-off.
- Implements the QA/QC management system at site.
- Coordinates the quality inspections with the site sub-contractors and vendors.
- Coordinates with the customers representative on all quality matters.
- Coordinates all receipt inspections.
- Distributes relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
- Verifies that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
- Participates in the internal and external site audits.
- Coordinates all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors.
- Ensures all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built hand over through the QC turnover engineer.
- Controls all nonconformance reports and undertakes remedial action.
- Completes site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
- Reviews the customers specification and undertakes relevant training to the site QC inspector.
- Monitors the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
- Completes and coordinates the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer.
- Coordinates with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
- Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel.
- Elaborates inspection and test programs.
- Assures all technical documents relative to site quality control are of current status.
Candidates should have the following:
Construction and QA/QC experience with MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) Systems – Prefer experience with large project construction practices, especially data center MEP infrastructure projects or other large construction projects for critical environments.

Computer SkillsKnowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.
A. /
B. S.) from four-year college or university; and five to ten years related experience in the construction industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CQM certification.
