As a Principal Network Risk Project Manager, you will:

* Work on medium to large-scale complex, cross-departmental projects that have a direct impact on the company. For example, partnering with the Executive Reporting team on creating and maintaining end-to-end Governance and Committee playbooks

* Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed

* Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.

* Assist the team and department in developing creating presentations, templates, procedures, process documentation SOPs, and training and calendars education

* Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation

* Design, create, and manage project plans for Governance trackers and intake/review processes for key risk topics

* Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

* Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

* Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes and communications

* Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

* Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

* Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands and needs

* Display strong consulting and collaboration skills

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

* At least 5 Years Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Masters / MBA degree

* 6+ years of Project Management experience

* 2+ years of Committee Governance experience

* PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Strong problem solving and influencing skills

* Work experience achieving results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Project Manager

McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 for Principal Project Manager

Riverwoods, IL: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
