As a Senior Project Manager you will:

• Work on medium to large-scale complex, cross-departmental projects that have a direct impact on the company.

• Drive cross-functional projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and/or escalate as needed; manage complex up and downstream project impacts.

• Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery of customer communications. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.

• Leverage problem-solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.

• Conduct regular meetings with the project team. Document progress and report to stakeholders on project status.

• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.

• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.

• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.

• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.

• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.

• Display strong consulting and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.

• At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience.

• At least 1 year of Communications planning and development or Relationship Management experience.

• Master’s Degree or MBA.

• 4+ years of Project Management or Process Management experience.

• 2+ years of marketing operations experience, including governance and lead management.

• 2+ years of experience working with marketing tech platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Workfront or Asana).

• 2+ years of Relationship Management experience.

• 1+ years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences.

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager
