This role sits within the Customer Transformation organization (CT) within the Commercial Bank. This team leads the delivery for some of the highest priority initiatives across the Commercial Bank. In this exciting role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and amplify the division's most impactful work, solve complex problems from our distinct viewpoint, all while balancing strategy and tactics.

Our project work runs the gamut, some examples are: launching new products, leading updates to existing products and features, or leading foundational initiatives that enable growth.

The ideal candidate thrives on a blend of project governance, process improvement, and effective communication. The role requires a well-rounded individual who is comfortable adjusting their approach to meet unique needs across multiple stakeholders within a complex organization. We are looking for someone who is comfortable engaging with senior leaders and a diverse set of partners to shape strategy and drive outcomes in this role.

General

Responsibilities
  • Manage and support cross-functional stakeholders at different levels as they navigate through the Book of Work (BoW) project intake, prioritization and program governance processes. This encompasses ensuring the clarity of the scope of deliverables, timelines, resourcing and budgets meet BoW requirements and identifying risks & issues to mitigate and / or elevate as needed

  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure BoW participants deliver on intent and maintain key project governance documentation

  • Participate and sometimes lead regular meetings supporting BoW routines

  • Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes

Qualities of a Successful Candidate
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project & process management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work and manage ambiguity

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

  • Display a proactive nature with a desire to take action and try new things. Highly organized, able to juggle multiple initiatives and prioritize work

  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands, suggest shifts in priority based on experience

  • Display excellent consulting and collaboration skills

  • Continually wants to develop and learn new things

  • Previous experience with Enterprise PMO

  • Portfolio reporting and or dashboard building

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Masters degree

  • 3+ years of PMO or EPMO experience

  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership

  • Experience working on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts
