Sr. Project Manager - Commercial Transformation

As a Senior Associate, Project Manager in Capital One’s Commercial Transformation Organization, you’ll work on the highest priority initiatives driving innovation, optimizing operational efficiencies, and fueling the bank’s future. • Drive medium to large scale complex cross‑functional projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or elevate as needed; manage up and downstream project impacts.
• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
• Organize documentation and delivery of critical program best practices, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
• Leverage problem‑solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Juggle multiple priorities caring for visibility into delivery targets, commitments and progress.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and influencing skills.
• Work experience achieving results with complex projects.

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.
• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.
• Display strong consulting and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 3 years of Project Management experience.

• 4+ years of Project Management experience.
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification.

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Charlotte, NC: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
