Senior Manager, Project Management, Finance Integrated Program & Delivery

As a Senior Manager on the Finance Integrated Program and Delivery Team, you will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders on strategic initiatives that are transforming our company. The role requires a well-rounded individual who is comfortable adjusting their approach to meet unique needs across multiple stakeholder groups within a complex organization.

The immediate focus for the successful candidate will be to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) workstream to:

• Be a central point of contact across multiple Programs, partnering with Finance Integration Management Office project managers for Card, Bank, and HR Systems Day 1 conversion programs

• Represent FP&A to the Finance Integration Management Office (FIMO) - attend stand ups, provide status updates, manage Risks and Decisions, and ensure compliance with program governance requirements

Responsibilities:

• Work autonomously on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company

• Display strong consulting and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholders across all levels to understand business problems, ensure accountability and focus on bringing issues to resolution, which includes clarifying and defining business needs, requirements and use cases.

• Assist teams in developing program objectives and corresponding key results to tie back to value-delivered

• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

• Show a willingness to learn and an intellectual curiosity to better understand Capital One’s business processes to identify areas to streamline or improve business processes

• Apply understanding of financial, data, and technology concepts to program objectives

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or military experience

• At least 4 years of experience in Project Management or Program Management or a combination

• At least 3 years of Process Improvement experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or MBA degree

• 5+ years of Project Management experience, including experience leading business transformation projects

• Experience leading technology transformation programs

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

• Strong understanding of financial, banking, data, and technology concepts

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
