Overview
GDIT is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to help support our Office of Military Commissions (OMC) program in McLean, VA. Due to the secure work environment this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.
The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial investigation and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009 (including United States v. Al Nashiri, United States v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammad et al., and United States v. Abd al Hadi al-Iraqi).
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive searches for documents in response to specific defense discovery requests, applying applicable red actions, and crafting adequate substitutes
- Retrieve and refine, as necessary, summaries and substitutions
- Perform other discovery, pretrial preparation, and trial missions, including research and analysis of existing intelligence, law enforcement, and legal products, as well as creation of new products
- Manage the organization’s task-oriented system and assist in its daily support of all trial teams
- Execute occasional travel, both local and international
Travel Requirements: 0-25% international travel, or as determined by OCP.

EDUCATION
:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies) or equivalent combination
EXPERIENCE
: 2 years experience in intelligence analysis and/or criminal litigation support
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous task requirements within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a demanding environment
- Ability to work independently

EDUCATION
:
Masters Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies)
