Description Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The Air Force, Space and Intelligence Business Group (AFSI) of SAIC is seeking a Service Now Software Engineer to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA. SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information.

DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies. Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description The Service Now Engineer will play a pivotal role in the DCSA AT client engagement by leveraging their expertise in the Service Now platform to enhance, optimize, and automate IT service management and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Service Now development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of ITIL processes. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement Service Now modules and functionalities to meet the needs of the DCSA.T

Key Responsibilities:

Service Now Development:
* Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions, including but not limited to modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM).
* Customize Service Now applications and facilitate configuration management of all implemented changes.
* Develop workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and notifications. Integration and Automation:
* Design and implement integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration hub.
* Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. Technical Leadership:
* Serve as a technical advisor and lead on Service Now projects and initiatives.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers and team members.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Stakeholder
