This role is part of the Enterprise Credit Bureau Reporting (eC ) platform, which aims to reimagine Credit Bureau Reporting at Capital One and provide transparency, accuracy, and real-time intelligent experiences for business and customers.
As a Platform Product Senior Manager, you will help deliver a platform that enables a new suite of core banking services and supports a platform with scalable, reliable, and secure core services, reusable components, data products, and internal APIs. You will own the product roadmap for your platform domain and drive adoption with internal partners, starting with the Card line of business.
Responsibilities- Platform Vision & API Strategy:
Define the technical vision and long-term strategy for the platform's core services, reusable components, data products, and internal APIs. Ensure the platform is architected for scalability, reliability, and security. Build and own the product roadmap for the platform domain. - Internal Customer Experience & Adoption:
Treat internal partners as primary customers, driving platform adoption through developer experience, documentation, and onboarding journeys. - Platform Governance & Metrics:
Establish KPIs for platform health, operational excellence, and value delivery. Own the governance model, maintain a service catalog, and sunset older components as needed. - People Leadership:
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 3-4 product managers, including goal setting, coaching, fostering an innovative and inclusive culture, and supporting professional growth. Translate the product vision into impactful results.

Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management
- Currently has, or is pursuing, one of the following with an expectation to obtain the degree by the start date:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related) or an MBA with quantitative focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products
