Our practice combines an understanding of the public sector's diverse mission needs with private sector leading practices.

We respond to each client's issues by bringing together highly skilled professionals across our Consulting, Assurance, Tax and Strategy and Transactions service lines. This integrated approach provides the support and flexibility to meet the unique requirements of our clients. You will join a talented group of professionals who are advising U.S. government agencies with digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, technology effectiveness, digital architecture and program integration.

Your key responsibilities As a Functional Lead, you will be responsible for the following:

* Translating complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications

* Configuring and implementing solutions that align with business needs

* Participate in discovery meetings with clients and prospects to understand and document their business requirements

* Propose and design solutions using the extensive Power Platform capabilities to solve the identified business requirements

* Customize Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform applications

* Work with developers and configuration resources to define and create specifications for any custom code or data migration requirements

* Developing solutions to complex problems and recommending policy changes

* Establishing procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function

* Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

* Train end-users

* Analytical prowess and decision-making based on a broad understanding of policies

* Ability to guide and develop junior team members

In addition to your client's responsibilities, you will also be expected to fulfil Manager-level responsibilities within the firm such as:

* * Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships
* Create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership
* Anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate

* Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff; help create a positive learning culture
* Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff Skills and attributes for success

* * Experience coming up with solutions to problems

* Prior consulting experience

To qualify for the role, you must have
* Bachelor's degree

* Candidate must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance

* 8+ years of related experience

* Proven track record of complex problem-solving and relationship management

* Strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies

* Must be comfortable working in-person as needed

Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location office. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. Candidates should be willing to travel 20 - 30% or more Ideally, you'll also have
