Overview
Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Playwright) for a Contract job with a client in McLean, VA (Onsite). The ideal candidate will have QA automation experience with Playwright as a must have skill.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56.81/hour

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Build, enhance, and maintain an end-to-end Playwright automation framework using Type Script or JavaScript.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated test scripts that ensure high product quality.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins) to support a Continuous Testing model.
- Develop and maintain API test automation for RESTful services to validate backend logic and data integrity.
- Perform cross-browser validation leveraging Playwright’s capabilities across Chromium, Firefox, and Web Kit.
- Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA, working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and stabilize flaky tests.
- Participate in peer code reviews, ensuring automation code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8–10 years of QA automation experience, including strong hands-on expertise with Playwright (MUST HAVE).
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript/Type Script, test automation patterns, and modern scripting practices.
- Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins).
- Solid understanding of web technologies, REST APIs, defect management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.81 per hour
