Description

As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with hands-on expertise in AWS, Java/Python Full Stack development, and AWS Cloud Migration, you will plan, execute, and oversee complex technology projects with hands-on development involvement. You will ensure successful delivery by managing cost, effort, timelines, and client communications, while driving technical excellence and aligning solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and oversee end-to-end delivery of technology projects involving AWS infrastructure, Java Full Stack applications, Python development, and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Define detailed project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, cost estimates, and effort tracking.
  • Manage budgets and control project costs to ensure delivery within approved financial limits.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from initiation, design, development, testing, deployment, to closure—ensuring adherence to project objectives and quality standards.
  • Perform architecting, hands-on development, and technical troubleshooting as needed to support the project team, including coding and deploying Java Full Stack applications, Python, and AWS cloud services.
  • Lead AWS Cloud Migration activities, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization of cloud resources.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate technical risks, including those related to cloud architecture, application development, and integration.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, developers, Dev Ops, and CIO teams to ensure technical solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams through regular updates, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage client expectations proactively, handling escalations and resolving conflicts with a focus on maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate large-scale technology changes and cloud migration events to minimize disruption and maintain production environment stability.
  • Partner with all stakeholder resources to ensure seamless execution of project tasks and timely delivery of changes.
  • Facilitate design, implementation, and testing phases by coordinating technical resources and validating deliverables against project goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating lessons learned and industry best practices in cloud migration and full-stack development projects.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, including cost, effort, scope, and schedule, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to cloud-based solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in technical and project management skills related to AWS and Java Full Stack development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and experience applying them in practice.
  • Experience managing projects in an agile environment, including sprint, release, and PI planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Apptio.
