McLean, VA Clearance: TS/SCI w CI poly Salary: $160k-$200k I am partnered with a leading government contractor who is looking to hire a Platform Security Engineer with a TS/SCI w CI poly clearance to be based on site for a long term programme based in McLean, VA. To be considered for this position you must have experience with the following:
Proficiency in Python or Go for security automation and scripting.
Experience working with RESTful APIs to automate security assessments and mitigation processes.
Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53, the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, cybersecurity risk management frameworks, and security tools such as Security Center, Nessus, and Splunk.
Solid knowledge of network topologies and architectures (VLAN, LAN, WAN).

Experience with automation frameworks, particularly Ansible, for scripting and automating security processes.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, vendors, and customers.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced networking environment.
