Summary: As a Senior Business Analyst within People Strategy and Analytics at Capital One, you will be part of the Proactive Org Design Insights team, working with leaders and HR Business Partners to identify opportunities that will ensure associates are empowered and that the business is able to run effectively. You will enhance your technical and analytical skills, while also working closely with business leaders to influence business strategy.

General Responsibilities:

• Partner with colleagues across different functions to identify business challenges and opportunities to improve organizational design and workforce planning
• Use modeling and analytics to generate actionable insights into strategic or tactical solutions
• Leverage communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to influence business leaders to act on your insights
• Establish and maintain effective feedback loops with business partners to monitor the effectiveness of analytical solutions and iterate as needed
• Mature proven analytical solutions into robust and resilient products and processes using industry leading practices and technology

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
• At least 1 year of experience in analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
• 1+ years of experience in market research
• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis
• 1+ years of experience in consulting
