The Observability Engineer will play a critical role in supporting network observability and visibility transformation efforts. This position involves implementing and optimizing a multi-observability strategy to enhance operational maturity across various environments. The engineer will work closely with internal teams to integrate and refine observability capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and processes.

• Integrate data and telemetry sources into the enterprise observability ecosystem, including platforms like netIMample, Splunk, ELK, Net Flow, Thousand Eyes, and Net Brain.
• Build and maintain unified dashboards and visualization outputs for stakeholders.
• Support automated diagnostics, alerting, and reporting workflows to improve incident response activities.
• Participate in tool modernization efforts, including rationalization, consolidation, and replacement of legacy monitoring platforms.
• Provide support for packet capture, traffic visibility, and deep network analytics using technologies like Extrahop and Giga Mon.
• Triggers digital experience and performance monitoring across cloud, application, and edge environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support architecture decisions, readiness, and platform adoption.
• Support log aggregation, parsing, and analytics using Splunk and ELK stack technologies.
• Contribute to automated network mapping and topology-driven diagnostics using Net Brain.
• Ensure compliance and data integrity standards associated with observability, telemetry, and platform governance.
• Continuously improve alert rules, thresholds, and analytics logic.
• Develop documentation, operational playbooks, and contribute to knowledge transfer efforts.
• Support performance baselining and predictive analytics initiatives to enhance operational visibility and service assurance.

• At least 5 years of experience with Net Brain and Thousand Eyes.
• Preferred experience with ELK, Extra Hop, Gigamon, NetIM, Splunk, and Net Flow.

$60 – $85/hour on W2. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
