Description Markon is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support a mission-critical Intelligence Community customer. This position focuses on applying advanced analytics and agentic data discovery methodologies to enhance data exploitation capabilities and reduce reliance on manual data processing.

This role requires a strong background in AI, data science, or software engineering and the ability to translate complex data into actionable intelligence supporting national security objectives. Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques and agentic data discovery methodologies to analyze disparate data sources across the Intelligence Community and partner agencies.

* Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions to accelerate data aggregation and identify emerging national security threats.

* Enhance the program's ability to exploit large-scale datasets, uncover correlations, and identify threat vectors.

* Integrate and analyze data from multiple agencies and sectors to support cross-domain intelligence analysis.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions aligned with mission objectives.

* Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and best practices to ensure continued technical relevance and innovation.

* Provide guidance and mentorship to non-technical team members on AI/ML concepts and methodologies.

* Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI/ML models, algorithms, workflows, and processes. Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI, data science, or software engineering.

* Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics and agentic data discovery methodologies.

* Proven experience working with disparate data sources and integrating data across organizations or agencies.

* Strong understanding of AI/ML models, algorithms, and frameworks.

* Proficiency with Python, R, and AI/ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow and PyTorch.

* Experience with big data and data processing platforms, including Hadoop, Spark, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

* Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic analysis skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Experience supporting Intelligence Community or government customers. Salary Range USD $ - USD $ /Yr.
