Key Responsibilities- Cloud Strategy & Design: Develop comprehensive cloud strategies aligned with business objectives. Architect tailored GCP solutions for application and data migration, modernization, and integration.
- Solution Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions. Oversee technical development from inception to operational status, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and deployment. Conduct workshops and technical presentations to demonstrate solution feasibility and value.

Collaboration:
Work closely with business, IT, and security teams to integrate GCP services into existing systems, enhancing performance and reliability. - Governance & Compliance: Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging GCP technologies and trends. Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify and implement improvements.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining a DoD Secret clearance. Candidates with an active clearance are strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering roles, with at least 3 years focused on Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven track record of successful client engagements in cloud migration, modernization, and solution integration.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Cloud Foundation Toolkit, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent certifications.
- Experience designing data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, pipelines) and implementing data governance.
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects in fast‑paced environments.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and automation tools.
