Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making initiatives in a large-scale banking and financial services environment
. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Tableau, and AWS
, with the ability to analyze complex datasets, create meaningful visualizations, and partner with business and technology teams to deliver actionable insights.

This role requires an individual who is comfortable working onsite
, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting enterprise analytics initiatives within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple banking systems to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for executive, operational, and risk stakeholders
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Leverage AWS services (such as S3, Redshift, Athena, or related analytics services) for data analysis and reporting
  • Partner with business teams (risk, finance, operations, product, compliance) to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests and ongoing reporting needs
  • Document data definitions, metrics, logic, and reporting processes
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards common in banking environments
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau (dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, performance optimization)
  • Experience working with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Must be willing to work onsite and attend in-person interviews
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a banking, financial services, or regulated enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with data governance, risk, compliance, or regulatory reporting
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum-based delivery models
  • Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data analysis is a plus
