Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAcentra Health is looking for a Business Analyst Specialist to join our growing team.
Job Summary:This position is responsible for logical design and functional behavior of the solutions involving complex information systems under no supervision for one or more systems such as, Provider Enrollment, Claims, Benefits Administration, Member Eligibility, Provider Enrollment, Prior Authorization, Third Party Liability (TPL) and Contracts Managed Care. This role would review, evaluate, and recommend solution for various business requirements; would provide a fully integrated solution ensuring accomplishment of business requirements;
would collaborate with customers and stakeholders and use business modeling techniques to deliver effective "to be" operating models and roadmaps; and work to develop an integrated view of the solution and align project with the strategic business vision.
- Elicit requirements working with customer and stakeholders.
- Works with customers on presenting technical solutions for complex business functionalities.
- Possesses unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
- Provides customer support through leading customer demos and presentations.
- Understands the overall system architecture and cross-functional integration.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of business and technical solutioning relates to Core Claims to ensure high quality.
- Demonstrates advanced expertise and contributes to the Business Analysis practice by publishing technology points of view through the creation of white papers.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge and is well-versed in multiple functions or capabilities.
- Lead team in applying in-depth healthcare Provider Enrollment, Maintenance and Screening;
Claims and encounter, Member Eligibility & Enrollment, or Managed Care domain knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to ensure high quality. - Escalate issues and risks to manager and assists in developing solutions.
- Facilitates proposal development by providing technical solution write-ups and pricing estimates.
- Acts as the requirements subject matter expert and supports requirements change management.
- Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments (including federal regulations) and support the adoption of new technologies and tools to improve quality of business solutioning and related deliverables.
- Identify gaps and deviation within product versus customer business requirements.
- Evaluate requirements, transform requirements to system functional requirements and business process requirements.
Collaborate with Solution/Technical Architect, Business Analyst, Technical lead, and stakeholders translate Business and System functional requirements to implementable components. - Identify potential system impacts due to proposed system function implementation.
- Determine optimized solution by conducting Decision Analysis and Resolution on possible solutions.
- Develop Prototype, Proof of Concept, wireframe models to demonstrate solution as applicable.
- Identifies areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost.
- Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.
