UI​/UX Designer

Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Pyramid Consulting, Inc., is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer for a 12‑month contract opportunity with long‑term potential, located in McLean, VA (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $70–$80 per hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
• Design high‑quality UI mockups that align with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Iterate designs based on feedback, data, and usability results.
• Ensure consistency across interfaces using design systems and style guides.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design best practices.

• Figma, Adobe XD, UI/UX, HTML/CSS, Prototypin.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Knowledge of usability testing methods and user research techniques.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (collaboration level; not required to code).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
