Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your Platform Engineering expertise in a high-impact role? Booz Allen is building a next generation end-to-end platform for development, testing, and production workloads to accelerate secure software development.

We’re looking for a Lead Platform Support Engineer to join the team. You’ll help operate and support customers in a secure, reliable, and highly available Cloud, managed hosting, and developer platform. You should thrive in a fast‑paced environment, be able to translate business and development team requirements into automated platform solutions. You’ll be responsible for working with the Security and Compliance team and Platform Engineers to implement secure infrastructure features, configurations, and automation to create a dynamic platform‑as‑a‑service for development teams.

You should have expertise in Cloud, network security, containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently while leading others, and be able to work across development teams. You should be able to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

• 5+ years of experience with Dev Ops for Containerized and Kubernetes production systems
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation, such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or AWS Code Star, and IaC, such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or AWS Cloud Formation
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes Deployment and Git Ops tooling, such as Helm, Flux, or Argo CD
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud and Network Security architecture, such as least privilege and IAM, secrets management, RBAC, and Boundary Protection
• Experience with AWS EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB, KMS, SSM, ELB, VPC, or Route
  53
• Experience with AWS Organizations, AWS Control Tower, or AWS Landing Zone Accelerator
• Experience leading and mentoring junior Software or Dev Ops Engineers
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with Istio, Kyverno, Prometheus, Grafana, or Keycloak
• Experience with vulnerability management and dynamic and static code analysis
• Experience with hardened AMIs and Container Images, such as DoD STIGs and CIS Benchmarks
• Experience with SIEMs, Audit, and Logging
• Experience with APM, such as Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk
• Experience with troubleshooting platform application deployments and configurations
• Experience in a Platform or Customer Support role
