Join to apply for the Senior Integration Developer role at Steampunk, Inc.

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will work within our expanding Dev Sec Ops  practice, developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems, helping our customers achieve their missions. We seek candidates with experience in cloud platform services, understanding business requirements, and implementing complex integrations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding stakeholder needs and communicating these to developers.
  • Testing and analyzing code written by others.
  • Ensuring systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Identifying technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing fixes.
  • Developing APIs, micro-services, and integrations using various programming tasks.
  • Designing reusable assets, standards, and frameworks to support API and integration projects.
  • Advising on performance, scalability, reliability, and operational concerns of integration solutions.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into integration interfaces.
  • Creating technical documentation for integrations.
  • Documenting the current environment, conducting gap analysis, and producing recommendations.
  • Acting as an individual contributor and mentoring junior team members.
  • Implementing solutions and recommending continuous improvements.
  • Providing status updates and cross-training team members.

    • Qualifications:

    • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
    • Bachelor's Degree in an IT field or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • 5+ years of experience with Git SCM providers.
    • 5+ years of experience with programming or scripting languages.
    • 5+ years of experience with integration technologies like Java libraries (Apache Camel, Spring Boot, JDBC).
    • Experience with API Management solutions and micro-services.

    Preferred certifications and experience include:

    • AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate, Azure Developer Associate.
    • Application development in Agile environments.
    • Implementing Docker, Kubernetes, designing APIs, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
