Senior ServiceNow Developer

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Sr. Service Now Developer to join our team to support our government clients. You will have the chance to use and develop your skills, work with a driven and innovative team, engage with different collaborators, and strengthen CGS' capabilities. The Senior Service Now Developer will support ongoing development and enhancement of the Service Now platform, primarily focused on ITSM.

Working under the guidance of the Service Now Architect, this individual will deliver high-quality configurations, customizations, and integrations aligned with technical standards and client requirements.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Service Now configurations and custom applications.
• Collaborate with the architect and business analysts to clarify requirements.
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to best practice documentation.
• Maintain and refine update sets, release processes, and technical documentation.
• Support ongoing improvements and optimization of Service Now ITSM modules.

• 5-7 years of experience developing on the Service Now platform.
• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Now scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Deep understanding of Service Now development best practices, including application scoping, data segregation, and performance optimization.
• Expert-level proficiency in Service Now scripting (server-side and client-side JavaScript, Glide APIs, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.

• Prior experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
• Familiarity with release coordination, version control, and agile delivery methods.
