POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Analyst will be responsible for turning customer needs into actionable outcomes, serving as a connector between government users, program leadership, and engineering teams. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, this role provides hands‑on support across multiple programs, ensuring Rohan Procure is effectively developed, tested, and adopted in both secure and civilian environments.

Day‑to‑day, the Business Analyst will capture and refine requirements, manage Jira documentation, support structured testing, and respond to customer queries, while surfacing insights that improve product usability and adoption. By combining analytical rigor with customer‑facing engagement, the Business Analyst will help ensure that every release is high‑quality, aligned with mission needs, and fully supported throughout the product lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requirements & Documentation – Partner with program managers and stakeholders to capture, refine, and document business and product requirements in Jira, Confluence, and related tools. Draft and manage Jira tickets, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with program priorities.
  • Customer Discovery & Support – Support user interviews, discovery sessions, and workflow mapping to capture customer needs and pain points. Respond to customer queries and support requests, escalating as needed while ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Testing & Release Support – Conduct structured platform testing and QA to validate new features prior to release. Contribute to release notes and customer‑facing updates, ensuring changes are clearly explained and easy to understand.
  • Adoption & Insights – Track adoption and usage of product features across accounts, surfacing risks and opportunities for improvement. Capture, synthesize, and share customer insights that inform roadmap prioritization, strategy, and process improvements.
  • Collaboration & Delivery – Work closely with engineering, product, service, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs, cross‑functional alignment, and consistent communication.
  • Knowledge & Enablement – Maintain thorough internal documentation of features, requirements, and customer insights. Contribute to customer enablement resources (e.g., FAQs, guides, training materials) to drive adoption and effective use of the platform.
