The OpportunityOur product team is defining a new product‑led growth business within Booz Allen. You will design, build, and deliver product to customers at scale, enjoying the autonomy of a start‑up with the resources, mentorship, and stability of an established tech company. You will look across industry and capability areas to craft new outcomes leveraging our deep catalog of existing technology and customer solutions, consistently pushing boundaries to supercharge customers.
Booz Allen is seeking a product manager to define and build the platform that will underpin our product portfolios. Your work will support product portfolios across technologies including Cybersecurity, Compliance, Edge, Autonomy, Quantum, AI, and Data, collaborating with finance, supply chain, marketing, and other functions to drive automation and capability. The platform will become the foundation for which our technology, business, and customers rely on.
WhatYou'll Do
- Establish the long‑term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product platform, ensuring alignment with company and product goals.
- Deeply understand user needs—internal product teams, developers, or B2B clients—to determine valuable services and capabilities.
- Research market trends, new technologies such as AI/ML and new infrastructure, and competitors to keep our business cutting‑edge.
- Prioritize building reusable, scalable, resilient services like APIs, data infrastructure, and core microservices, reducing technical debt and increasing efficiency.
- Own, prioritize, and manage the platform product backlog, translating strategy into detailed, actionable requirements for engineering.
- Work closely with engineering and technical product leads/architects to define requirements, system design, and overall architecture for a robust, secure, scalable platform.
- Drive adoption and utilization of the platform’s services, providing training, clear guides, and support for internal consuming teams.
- Define and track key performance indicators that measure platform success, focusing on internal efficiency such as velocity, reliability, uptime, cost‑efficiency, and adoption.
- 7+ years of technology product management experience for revenue‑generating products.
- Experience analyzing and solving problems.
- Ability to manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑moving startup environments and effectively lead change.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or Business.
- Experience working across a variety of software and hardware technologies.
- Experience leading a product team toward a shared goal, inspiring confidence, and driving consensus.
- Ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into smaller, manageable pieces and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma that enhance the product conceptualization process.
- Ability to pivot, embrace change, and learn quickly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Salary range: $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). Full compensation includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
