Product Manager – Tysons, VA

Role OverviewAs a Product Manager in our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit, you will oversee the full lifecycle of software solutions that integrate OT and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Your work will directly impact the automation of business processes and the delivery of secure, high‑performance products.
Responsibilities- Assist with the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept to implementation.
- Capture, document, and translate customer needs into features, user stories, and prioritized product backlogs.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and facilitate trade‑off decisions with technical and project stakeholders.
- Lead day‑to‑day software operations, balancing resources and removing blockers to meet release targets.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including design plans, diagrams, procedures, and maintenance plans.
- Assist with planning and conducting user testing (UAT) and establishing KPIs to improve product performance and adoption.
- Co‑lead product demos, training sessions, and other stakeholder activities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 2+ years of product management experience.
- Security Clearance: Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Certifications: SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent agile certification.
- Experience: Proven track record of launching and managing complex software products; expertise in application lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab); hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, Syslog).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with workflow and lifecycle management systems.
