- Lead digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high‑performing Appian solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Design and implement Appian‑based business process automation, including requirements gathering, architecture planning, and hands‑on development across Appian Cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Translate business needs into actionable Appian solutions, integrating with third‑party systems (REST/SOAP APIs, RPA, AWS/Azure) and ensuring compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, guiding project teams and clients through platform decisions, solution design, and implementation strategies.
- Develop and present solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and migration plans to business and technical leadership.
- Mentor developers and junior architects.
- Stay current with Appian product updates and emerging technologies.
- Drive Agile delivery practices, participate in sprint planning, and oversee successful deployments and post‑launch support.
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best‑practice documentation.
- Support business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal creation, and client presentations.
- US citizenship or eligibility for federal security clearance.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise software delivery.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience architecting and developing solutions in Appian, including advanced proficiency with Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, and integration with REST/SOAP, web services, and cloud platforms.
- Current Appian Lead Developer or Solution Architect certifications.
- Expert‑level understanding of Appian best practices, scalability, performance tuning, and cloud security principles.
- Experience leading Agile teams and managing full solution delivery lifecycle (CI/CD, automated testing, Dev Ops).
- Active Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in client delivery and platform adoption.
- Experience in project management within technology or consulting, especially agile.
- Ability to identify and document business process requirements, develop flow analyses, perform data modeling, and contribute to functional design.
- Hands‑on experience with Java and Maven.
- Experience working on federal government software projects, including acquisition management.
- Familiarity with industry‑standard platforms and programming languages (e.g., Mule, LAMP/JBoss, Hadoop, .NET).
- Background in Enterprise Application Integration (SOA, ESB) and n‑tier client‑server architectures.
- Proactive approach to adopting new features on the Appian platform.
