Banquet Captain

The iconic Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is looking for an experienced Banquet Captain to join our team! Located in the heart of Fairfax County’s business district, our AAA Four Diamond hotel has over 28,000 square feet of event space with 24 meeting rooms.

We are seeking a dedicated, hands‑on leader to oversee a banquet team of 15‑20 people. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of banquet captain experience in a full‑service hotel of a similar size, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of banquet operations, both set‑up and service.

• Supervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions to ensure quality service and product quality.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and execution of all banquet functions—including breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.
• Greet and welcome client representatives and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Participate in and lead department meetings.
• Process banquet checks accurately and efficiently for payment.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Serve alcoholic/non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.
