This position is responsible for providing assistance in engineering operations, including maintenance and repair of hotel property, outside grounds, hotel equipment, preventative maintenance, and asset protection. The role follows

- Engineering:
Learn and demonstrate the ability to maintain property assets, working with the Chief Engineer to understand preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, routine inspections, and capital expenditures. Understand how maintaining company assets impacts the overall financial success of the hotel property. - Guest service:
Assist and respond to guest requests in a friendly and positive manner, while providing the highest level of service. Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, guest room repairs, and common area maintenance, setting a strong example for other associates through exceptional guest service. - Maintenance solutions:
Assess and evaluate property assets through preventative maintenance. Work with appropriate managers to recommend maintenance service solutions in a respectful and courageous manner. - Standard operating procedures:
Work with the Chief Engineer to learn, understand, and execute all engineering SOPs. - Collaboration:
Work as a team player to meet guest needs, actively contributing to other departments when necessary, and completing all assigned duties inside or outside the normal scope of responsibilities within the engineering department. - Safety:
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with

F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, brand, local, state, and federal regulations. Use personal protective equipment when needed and follow all procedures for guest/associate incidents. Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures. - Self‑management:
Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties as directed by the Chief Engineer. Adhere to attendance policy, general work rules, and department procedures and attend all required meetings.
Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required. CPO and appliance repair certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification based on property needs.
- 2+ years of hotel maintenance experience required. Attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to perform job duties in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.
- Electrical and HVAC experience preferred.
- Shift will be between 11 am‑9 pm, variable days. Required weekend availability.
