Candidate must possess a Top Secret Security Clearance
Salesforce Public Sector Professional Services is currently looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our growing team! In this role, the FSO will be responsible for the day to day management, oversight, and compliance of the Public Sector Professional Services industrial security program in accordance with all NISPOM and other applicable federal regulations. The FSO will manage security activities across a diverse portfolio of programs and ensure adherence to government regulations.
In addition, this role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and training programs for employees handling classified information. They will assist in investigations involving security violations and incidents, submitting reports to the appropriate agencies and implementing mitigation strategies.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Ensure the protection of classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and sensitive customer data across Public Sector programs
- Provide guidance to Public Sector consultants and leadership on industrial security best practices to adhere to all DCSA, NISPOM and other Government regulations
- Serve as the primary liaison with Government security officials and internal stakeholders to maintain audit readiness, enable compliant delivery, and mitigate security risk across a diverse line of business.
- Advise senior leadership on security risk posture and regulatory changes impacting Public Sector delivery.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and training programs for employees handling classified information
- Conduct self‑inspections and preparation for Government audits. Identify security risks and deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Create and administer initial and recurring security awareness education for cleared staff in accordance with NISPOM and customer requirements. Track and report on training completion
- Prepare and deliver regular written and verbal communications and updates for cleared personnel on relevant topics of interest.
- Maintain security documentation and files in accordance with government requirements.
- Ensure compliance with CMMC requirements and DFARS 252.204‑7012 safeguarding and reporting obligations.
- Maintain the Facility Clearance (FCL) in good standing, including KMP management, NISS reporting, and required DCSA submissions.
- Administer security briefings and debriefings, foreign travel reporting, insider threat coordination, and security incident/spillage reporting in accordance with NISPOM and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship Required
- Must possess and be able to maintain a Top Secret (TS) Clearance
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in managing security programs in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
- Thorough understanding of personnel security processes and best practices, including clearance processing, onboarding, and reinvestigations.
- Proven ability to conduct self‑inspections and prepare for government audits
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in implementing security policies and procedures.
