Analyst, Specialty Underwriter & Portfolio Manager - CRE

* Market Research:
Evaluate real estate fundamentals (submarket conditions, vacancy, supply/demand) and the asset’s competitive positioning to draw data-driven conclusions.
* Credit Memorandums:
Author clear, persuasive credit approval memos that identify risks, propose structural mitigants, and provide well-supported risk rating recommendations.
* Due Diligence:
Critically evaluate third-party reports, including appraisals, environmental site assessments, and property condition reports to assess asset quality.
* Closing Execution:
Coordinate closing requirements, prepare term sheets, and partner with senior underwriters on legal documentation negotiation.
* Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
* At least 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management or commercial real estate analysis
* Completion of a formal bank credit training program with a focus on real estate
* 3+ years of experience in CRE underwriting
* Proficiency in ARGUS, CoStar, or other real estate-specific data platforms
* Ability to build complex financial models from scratch in Microsoft Excel
* Familiarity with CRE loan documentation and legal considerations
