Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Loan Operations Analyst serves as a critical partner to the Commercial Loan Officer, providing end-to-end support across deal formulation, underwriting coordination, loan processing, and closing execution. This role is designed to “plug and play” into the CLO’s pipeline, allowing the CLO to focus on origination and relationships while the Loan Consultant ensures deals move efficiently from initial inquiry to funded loan.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑oriented role requiring strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and comfort working across borrowers, internal credit teams, legal counsel, and third‑party vendors.

Key Responsibilities Deal Intake & Structuring
  • Serve as the primary support resource to the CLO during initial deal evaluation and structuring
  • Assist in reviewing borrower requests, term sheets, and deal parameters
  • Analyze borrower financials, rent rolls, operating statements, and project budgets
  • Support loan sizing, leverage analysis, DSCR, LTC/LTV calculations, and sensitivity scenarios
  • Help package deals for internal credit review and approval
  • Prepare and organize credit memos, underwriting summaries, and deal narratives
  • Gather, review, and validate borrower documentation (financial statements, tax returns, entity docs)
  • Coordinate with internal credit committees or third‑party underwriters as needed
  • Address underwriting conditions and follow up on outstanding items
  • Ensure deal files are accurate, complete, and credit‑ready
Loan Processing & Transaction Management
  • Act as the day‑to‑day transaction manager once a deal is approved
  • Coordinate ordering and receipt of third‑party reports (appraisals, environmental, title, inspections)
  • Liaise with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal operations teams
  • Track conditions precedent, closing checklists, and documentation requirements
  • Maintain timelines to ensure deals move efficiently toward closing
Closing & Funding Support
  • Support preparation and review of closing packages and loan documents
  • Assist CLO and legal counsel with final closing coordination
  • Confirm satisfaction of all credit and closing conditions
  • Support funding logistics and post‑closing file completeness
  • Ensure clean handoff to servicing or asset management, if applicable
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2–5+ years of experience in residential, commercial, private, hard money, or real estate finance lending
  • Experience reviewing borrower financials, credit packages, and real estate documentation
  • Comfort working across multiple deals and managing timelines simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting senior originators
  • Prior interaction with legal counsel, title companies, and appraisal firms
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial lending environment
