*** This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Senior Analyst, Consolidations & Reporting on the Consolidations & Reporting team reporting to the Senior Manager, Consolidations & Reporting, you will focus on ensuring accurate and timely consolidation and analysis of the Company’s financial statements that are prepared in accordance with US GAAP.

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. What your day-to-day will be like:
- Prepare monthly close journal entries and/or consolidation journal entries.
- Utilize the Company’s accounting policies and memos to understand the accurate accounting treatment for items related to your responsibilities.
- Perform analysis on financial statement line items and prepare schedules, including resolution of discrepancies or outstanding items.
- Prepare schedules for footnote disclosures, lender compliance reporting, management, other Finance teams at Hilton, and external business partners.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Engage with Finance teams to understand, analyze, record, report, and explain monthly consolidated activity.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation.
- Provide a support role for all other consolidation and reporting processes.
What you will take ownership of:
- This role is very collaborative; all team members are expected to take ownership of their tasks and to understand and analyze their assigned portions of the general ledger and consolidation close processes.
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Two (2) years of work experience in finance, accounting, or related field
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Experience disaggregating, analyzing, and reconciling consolidated financial data
- Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
- Certified Public Accountant or exam candidate
- Experience with People Soft and/or Oracle Cloud EPM Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC)
- Advanced level Excel skills
