Job Description
Serves as the primary liaison between account managers, engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and operational continuity - Act as the glue so nothing falls through the cracks
Proactive personality Maintain a proactive approach in a high-velocity MSP environment, suggesting improvements and addressing challenges before escalation - don t wait for things to come to you, speak up, asks questions, make suggestions, etc.
Manages client communications, resource allocation, and task coordination across multiple time zones and client environments - Help with communication with clients and Network & System Engineers
MSP background experience- must be very comfortable in a fast paced, chaotic environment
Exceptional communication skills, proactive personality
Oversees scheduling of maintenance windows, patching, and remediation projects, ensuring approvals, constraints, and timelines are captured and communicated clearly.

• Examples of coordinating patching or remediation projects across many systems or customers
• How they manage customer communication and approvals for downtime

Handle client communication around downtime and planned changes - Needs to be detail oriented with exceptional communication, organization, and follow up skills

• Email clients with here is what we plan to change and here is when
• Capture approvals, constraints, and questions

Track work and assignments for the engineering team
Keep status by client and by device up to date
Tools we use : Connectwise, MS Project, Excel

What the projects look like (that Engineers work on):
Migrations, PC refreshes, application reinstalls, Azure cloud migration and deployments, server and network migrations, data center work, firewalls, VMWAre, NOC, etc. exposure to this lingo is beneficial

Overview
This is a true Senior Project Manager role within an MSP environment. The PM will own planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, and execution oversight for multi-client maintenance, patching, and remediation initiatives. This role is responsible for driving timelines, managing risk, ensuring approvals, and maintaining delivery accountability across engineering teams and client stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of maintenance windows across multiple client environments
• Own client communication strategy around downtime, upgrades, and planned changes
• Present scope, timelines, and change details to clients and secure formal approvals
• Identify constraints, risks, and dependencies and proactively mitigate impact
• Manage work breakdown structures and assignments for engineering teams
• Track progress, milestones, and deliverables using Connect Wise, Excel, or MS Project
• Maintain real-time status reporting by client, system, and device
• Serve as the central point of accountability between account managers, engineers, and client stakeholders
• Ensure SLA adherence and delivery quality across simultaneous initiatives

Required Background

• MSP experience
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client-facing projects
• Comfortable operating across diverse technical environments
• Demonstrated ownership of delivery outcomes (not just coordination support)
