This opening is for our sister concern of EnDyna - Prevision LLC based in Northern Virginia. Prevision engages in algorithmic trading of futures and indexes. Future plans include trading stocks and options.
Outline Of PositionThe Trading Workflow Automation Engineer (TWAE) duties will include detailed specifications and programming/engineering of an application from the ground-up primarily using off-the-shelf applications. Manual and quasi-automated processes already exist for many parts of the workflow. The end application will be used by trading managers and by traders.
Skills And Experience Required- Knowledge and experience in trading futures and indexes (mainly), and stocks.
- Options trading experience is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in:
- Tradestation® Easy Language
- Tradestation® APIs
- Algorithms/strategies, and optimization techniques
- Python, Easy Language-Python interfaces/APIs; use of Python for training/optimization, display, storage, signal integration, etc.
- Analytical/display tools such as Tableau®
- Display and control dashboard(s) design
- Product development
- Bachelors in mathematics, data science, computer science, physics, or in engineering.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Completed Masters degree is a plus.
The Trading Workflow Automation Engineer (TWAE) will work from our office in Tysons Corner, Virginia. The office is ten minutes’ walk from the subway station; free parking will be provided for those who drive.
