Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAcentra Health is looking for an Instructional Design and Trainer to join our growing team.
Job SummaryThe Instructional Design and Trainer is a key participant in the independent development and delivery of training solutions. This position interacts with internal staff and external vendor partners to effectively balance multiple content development work streams.
Responsibilities- Work with other teams to coordinate team activities with other instructional design teams to integrate work and instructional design, build, testing, and delivery.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss team‑and‑training‑related activities, issues, changes, communications, and updates.
- Ensure the high quality of deliverables identified in the project work plan.
- Support logistics and delivery of training for 1000+ end‑users.
- Ensure data in the master training environment is available, accurate, and ready to support the delivery of all training sessions.
- Support the processes, reports, tools, procedures, and schedules for providing on‑site and off‑site training logistics.
- Coordinate with locations on the course schedule, monitor training registration progress, check for registration errors, answer user questions, and update reminder communications.

- Support the storage and maintenance of learning content such as lesson plans, tip sheets, exercise booklets, user guides, etc.
- Learn assigned application/system and applicable client clinical and operational workflows.
- Participate in workflow design and system build sessions to gain an in‑depth knowledge of the system functionality and rationale for the workflow designs.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and all course materials for scenario‑based, role‑oriented education.
- Build, maintain, and prepare training environments for training classes.
- Ensure all materials for each course are ready for scheduled classes.
- Work with trainers to deliver end‑user training. (May be assigned to manage a team of matrixed support, such as Trainers who also present training).
- Act as a resource to aid in eLearning course development, ongoing new hire education, go‑live/end‑user support, demonstrations of the system, and other duties pertinent to onboarding & education.
- Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in adult education or instructional design, including experience in planning and developing learning objectives and course materials; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
