Tracy Morris Design, a premier residential interior design firm established in 2003, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Designer to join our fast‑paced, detail‑driven team. With 10–15 years of experience in high‑end residential design, the ideal candidate will bring a strong creative vision, assertive work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills to the role. This position is both creative and physical, requiring involvement in everything from sourcing materials and attending site meetings to participating in installations and handling design elements on‑site.
A positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong sense of teamwork are essential, as the role involves close collaboration within a small team and the ability to shift between tasks fluidly throughout the day.
- Lead the design and documentation of residential interiors from concept to installation
- Draft detailed floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings using AutoCAD or similar software
- Source furnishings, fabrics, lighting, hardware, and construction materials in alignment with the design vision
- Assist in the creation and delivery of compelling client presentations and design boards
- Attend and actively participate in client meetings and construction site visits
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and fabricators to ensure accurate execution of design intent
- Oversee and participate in furniture installations, including handling and placing items on site
- Lift and carry boxes, materials, and furniture pieces as needed for presentations, deliveries, and installs
- Maintain and organize sample libraries, material orders, and showroom requests
- Assist with capturing content for social media and design documentation
- Assist with Instagram Story creation 2-3 days a week
