Sourcing & Procurement Summer Intern - Richmond, VA

About the Internship

We are seeking an Intern in Sourcing & Procurement to join our team at a client site in Richmond, VA. The internship will provide exposure to procurement processes, vendor management, strategic sourcing, and sustainability initiatives within the commercial real estate sector.

• Assist with supplier research, data analysis, and market benchmarking.
• Support the preparation and review of RFPs, RFQs, and contract documents.
• Help track procurement activities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Participate in vendor meetings and assist with supplier performance evaluations.
• Contribute to the development of procurement dashboards and reporting tools.
• Assist with sustainability initiatives in sourcing.
• Gain exposure to risk management and compliance processes.

Dates:
June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Location:

Richmond, VA (on‑site)

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years completed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work with multiple people on diverse projects and meet deadlines.
• Desire to learn more about procurement and supply‑chain management.
• Interest in vendor management, sourcing, or commercial real estate.
• Demonstrated initiative.
• Prepared to work in a fast‑paced team environment and gain broad experience in sourcing & procurement.
