OverviewOpportunity with the Hilton Supply Management (HSM) Inside Sales team, where you will gain progressive exposure and active participation within the full spectrum of quote and order management. You will serve as a critical liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless procurement operations while delivering exceptional service excellence. This role provides hands-on experience with enterprise-level purchasing systems and offers the chance to collaborate across multiple departments to support hospitality supply chain operations.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer quote requests, issue supplier RFQs, and place and track orders from issuance through delivery
- Work closely with the HSMx Service Desk to resolve inquiries ranging from quote requests to warranty investigations
- Provide Accounts Payable with required information to ensure billing accuracy and payment reconciliation to suppliers
- Partner with Accounts Receivable to ensure invoice accuracy
- Place orders with appropriate suppliers using the People Soft purchasing program while researching product availability, pricing, specifications, and product usage requirements or recommendations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of active purchase orders, including the latest terms and conditions in compliance with applicable agreements and regulations
- Collaborate with strategic sourcing managers and brand managers regarding product specifications and standards
- Maintain accurate specifications by hotel brand
- Establish cases per order in Salesforce and accurately detail all interactions between the team and the customer, including order acknowledgment, property follow-up, and phases throughout the order process
- Strong customer-first mindset and commitment to service excellence
- Commitment to learning and quickly gaining familiarity with programs, tools, and initiatives
- Ability to work across the enterprise with a high degree of diplomacy and collaboration
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear, confident, and professional support
- Strong problem-solving and resolution skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure and effectively balance multiple tasks
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
- One year of customer service-related experience, or
- One year of hospitality and/or supply chain related experience
- Two years collaborating with suppliers/vendors and properties and/or customers (preferred)
- One year of experience purchasing supplies/equipment for the hospitality industry or similar (preferred)
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience with Auto Quotes and/or People Soft (preferred)
