Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong customer focus, is detail-oriented, CRM experience, and holds a proven track record in Account Management.
This position will be based in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Understand clients' business objectives and provide strategic guidance and support to achieve their goals.
- Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize client revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure smooth client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and present new products or service offerings.
- Distribute Marketing Campaigns and relevant resources to clients.
- Support organization by maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – ensuring all opportunities are correctly categorized and all existing data is accurate and complete.
- Monitor and analyze client performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize their results and ensure customers remain within allotted purchased product amounts.
- Prepare and deliver accurate reports and forecasts to management and clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions, sharing relevant insights with clients to enhance their business strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, National Security, Business Administration, or a related field, or military experience.
- 2+ years Account Management experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Hyperresponsive to both internal and external requests.
- Effectively present and educate clients on the benefits of the Duty of Care Membership program.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong customer focus and ability to understand clients' needs and expectations.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.) and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with the security industry's best practices and market trends.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients as needed.
Regular Full-Time (RFT) Exempt
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
