Jr-Mid Big Data Engineer - 1-3 years Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Java

Perm Role | $90,000-$100,000

Requirements
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Hadoop and related technologies like Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.
  • Existing Dev Ops skills, or a strong desire to learn and apply Dev Ops skills in a cloud environment (Scalr, Chef, or similar frameworks)
  • Java/Scala programming experience;
    Python is desirable
  • Solid understanding of all stages of the software development lifecycle, including automated testing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder interaction
    • Bonus
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with EMR
  • Chef and Scalr experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
