Job Summary:

We are seeking a Fitness Instructor to join our successful gym. As a Fitness Instructor, you will plan and lead fitness classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels can participate. Your goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives and have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for fitness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a wide variety of classes to fitness studio members and guests
• Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
• Encourage students to continue with their exercise routines and help them make healthy decisions
• Promote programs, classes, and memberships through social media and networking
• Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with clients for goal setting

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics is preferred
• First aid and CPR certification
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
