Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, field role based in McKinney, TX, for a Business Development - Builder & Commercial professional. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and coordinating with clients from the builder and commercial sectors. Responsibilities include identifying prospective clients, attending meetings, networking to expand business connections, and creating proposals or presentations tailored to clients' needs.
Collaboration with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction is a key aspect of this role.
- Business development, client relationship management, and networking expertise
- Sales strategy, negotiation, and proposal development skills
- Knowledge of the building and commercial flooring industry is a requirement
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation abilities
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools is an asset
- Previous experience in a similar role is a requirement
This position is not an entry level position. Prior builder and commercial flooring experience is required.
