Retail Service Specialist

Overview

Retail Service Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts. The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly; issue refunds using the correct payment methods; stage returns appropriately.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules, approve changes/deviations, and clock in/out according to policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money/deposits handling, bank deposits, security checks, and vehicle security.

  Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Desired:
  Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Desired:
  Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• Desired: ASE Certification

  Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
