Managers lead weekly shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments, overseeing systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; setting goals; delegating tasks; following up; and reporting results to teams and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring crew and managers deliver excellent customer service, successful sales promotions, and proper training in service procedures, while keeping the Front Counter, McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized for optimal service.
The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring the restaurant delivers high‑quality, fast food that is safe, cost‑controlled, and produced correctly, including new menu items.
The People Department Manager’s responsibilities include hiring qualified crew, training them well, and scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals. This manager also ensures crew start strong and remain motivated and recognized.
Qualifications- Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule, ready to thrive in the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager.
- 2 weeks of vacation
